Miranda Turbitt

Miranda has trained at many of Victoria’s acclaimed performance schools such as NIDA, 16th Street (with acting coach Elizabeth Kemp) and recently graduated from The Australian Film & Television Academy. Miranda was first introduced to acting by internationally acclaimed award-winning director Emma Freeman (Stateless, Glitch, Puberty Blues, Offspring) when she cast her in CocoRosie’s music video “Gallows” and has since appeared in multiple film shorts such as ‘Old Habits’ (San Antonio Film Festival, Canberra Short Film Festival, Female Feedback Film Festival), ‘IRIS’, ‘In Defence of Violet’s Summer’. She will be seen on the upcoming feature film Slant starring Sigrid Thorton, to be released in cinemas 2022. Miranda also works as a model and has a deep-rooted love for theatre and playing guitar.
